DESCRIPTION
Pad Man is a 2018 comedy-drama film directed and written by R. Balki, featuring Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in lead roles. Inspired by the life of social activist Arunachalam Muruganantham, a social entrepreneur from Tamil Nadu. At 66th National Films Award, Pad Man received award for Best Film on Other Social Issues.
Laxmikant is upset when he sees Gayatri, his wife, using an unhygienic cloth during her menstrual cycle. Thereafter, he creates a machine that can make affordable sanitary pads and raises awareness.
The music of the film was composed by Amit Trivedi while the lyrics were written by Kausar Munir. The first single track, "Aaj Se Teri", which is sung by Arijit Singh. All lyrics are written by Kausar Munir; all music is composed by Amit Trivedi.
