Awarapan is a 2007 action thriller film directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Mukesh Bhatt under the banner of Vishesh Films. The film stars Emraan Hashmi, Shriya Saran, Mrinalini Sharma, and Ashutosh Rana in the lead roles, while Shaad Randhawa, Rehan Khan, Ashish Vidyarthi, Salil Acharya, and Purab Kohli play supporting roles. Many people consider it to be the best film with Emraan and Mohit Suri's career. The film is an uncredited remake of the South Korean film A Bittersweet Life.
